names like a Sentence or Story. Every creature has its
own name. A name is not only for humans rather every
organisms has a Name.
But in terms of Grammar, the word 'Name' is used in
different ways. Here the purpose of the word 'Name' is to
categorise people, animals and other organisms in
systematic manner.
The word "Name" is referred as Noun in Grammatics.
What are Nouns in the terms of Grammar? Noun are
names. They are also referred to as Naming words. You
are already familiar with the primary defnition of Noun
that is "A Noun is the name of any person, place or thing".
Here , our defnition is mentioning only few items to
describe Noun. Is it correct ? Is "Idea" a Noun? Is "Fish"
also a Noun? If yes, then why these are not in our primary
defnitions? Actually it is diffcult to write all the terms together in a sentence ti describe 'Noun'. Therefore these
are absent in the defnition of "Noun". The defnition of
Noun and it's whole function is complex to write and
understand.
