Dust Of Snow

1. Dust of Snow is a short and beautiful poem written by Robert Frost. 

2. It is a motivating poem that tells us how our view of perceiving things changes our minds and puts a greater impact on our lives. 

3. By enjoying the simple moments of life, we can get rid of our day-to-day problems and worries. 

4. This also helps us in living a happy and healthy life.

5. In the Dust of Snow poem, the poet has mentioned a crow, snow and a hemlock tree. 

6. The crow, dust of snow and the hemlock tree describe the depressive and sorrowful mood of the poet. 

7. Since the poet was not in a good mood, he sees nature in the same way and describes nature’s bitter side to express his feelings.

Syntatic Functions

INTRODUCTION →When a Subject agrees with its verb. → It can only be expressed in the form of grammatical numericals. i.e. Singular(One in Quantity) and Plural(More in Quantity).  SYNTATICAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SUBJECT AND VERB → Singular Subject with Singular Verb  → Plural Subject with Plural Verb  → Rules of adding 's' is different, according to the condition of sentence. SOME SYNTATIC RULES 1) Rule of Articles ® Use of double articles with double Subjects in a Sentence with conjunction 'And' → Plural Verb. E.g. The Captain and The Falcon were good Friends. ® Use of Single Article with Double Subjects taking that Singular Article common → Singular Verb. E.g. The Falcon and Captain America is very Powerful. 2) Rule of 'And' ® If Two proper Nouns are together connect with conjunction 'And', then it is manifestly  a plural verb acting over there. E.g.
