INTRODUCTION
The study of numerals regards mainly the quantity of noun and verbs. According to numbers, these are classified into two categories:
1. Singular→ One in Quantity
2. Plural → More in Quantity.
SINGULARS
Nouns with one in quantity are called Singular Nouns.
Moon, Soma, Rishu, Mayor, Ball, Pen, Mango, Dog, Shero, Kitty, Ryan, Joel, Tom etc. are some examples for Singular Nouns.
Singular can be nouns, Pronouns and Verbs, that we will learn in our upcoming Slides.
PLURALS
Noun with more than one in quantity are called Plural Nouns.
Dogs, Pens, Stars, Doctors, Teachers etc are some examples of Plural Nouns.
Always remember→ There is no Plural form available for Proper Noun.
RULES
1) Simply adding 's' or 'es' to words.

2) Adding 'ies' in the place of 'y'.
Harmony to Harmonies
Thievery to Thieveries
Petty to Petties
3) Adding 'ves' in the place of 'f'.
Loaf to Loaves
Self to Selves
4) Adding 'ys' in place of 'y'
Holiday to Holidays
Guy to Guys
5) Adding 'ves' in the place of 'fe'.
Life to Lives
Wife to Wives
6) Adding 'es' with 'o'.
Tomato to Tomatoes
Negro to Negroes
7) Adding '-ice' in the place of "-ouse"
Mouse to Mice
Louse to Lice

8) Changing 'a' to 'e'
Man to Men
Woman to Women.
9) Adding 'ee' in the place of 'oo'
